The effects of UN

   My investigation of UN sustainable development goals has influenced my thinking and actions in positive ways. Some things I have began to do differently to meet the goals include taking shorter showers, shoveling snow, and turning off the lights. If more people start doing little things like that, that can help to achieve the goals. In the future I plan to help out more by doing things like install solar panels in my home or taking more public transport/walking instead of driving my car all the time which uses gas. Gas is a nonrenewable resource and we shouldn't use it when it's not necessary. I think I can make a positive influence on the world because if I spread awareness and everyone starts doing at least little things it can make a big impact. Everyone can make an impact including you!

Election issues

~Examining the election issues and the candidates helped me learn and understand a lot about the topics. I learned that their are more than two candidates. I thought that only Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton were running for president. I also didn't know that there were so many issues that the candidates had to have there opinions on. Giving my own opinion on the election helped me understand about a lot of the issues the US has. Minimum wage is an issue I learned about. I learned that the government might be hiring minimum wage and that some people don't agree with bringing up the amount of minimum wage. There were also several other things i learned by examining the election issues and candidates but these are some of the ones that stuck really well in my mind.

Closed and Open Questions

Closed and open questions should both be used because they both have different answers. Sometimes you just need to ask a simple open question like  “Is school fun” which can be answered in a yes or no. A closed question like “What makes school fun” can be answered in a sentence. Open questions are easier to answer. Other things that make questions easy to answer are Google search tips. In example using a minus sign in front of words you do not want helps limits results. Using Google tips makes it not only easier to find answers but faster.
